A few days ago, I posted an article that is titled “Organizing Your Drag”. This article will be a “Sequel” article related to that topic.
There are some people out there who like to take organizing to the next level, myself included. Between labeling, buying all the same style and color of totes, putting a layer of foam inside each drawer, I will have to admit, that when it comes to my drag, I am very OCD. However, there was always a part of organizing that I loved to do the most, and that would be to create an inventory of every piece of drag that I owned.
When you create an inventory, it will help you know not just how much you own, but will let you know what kind of condition the item is in. When you sit down and take every iece and catalog it, you give yourself a chance to see up close what needs repaired, what item needs replaced and what items you really do have.
Most of the time, people would like to skip this. I, however, would like to say that this will help you keep track of everything. It will tell you if you need to run to the store and pick up another can of your favorite hairspray, or if you need to pull out your sewing kit and fix that gown of yours. But mostly, it will help you keep track if something would go missing so you can replace it in a timely manner, and not realizing it is missing the second you need it.
